Shark's Ink. at BMoCA

Thursday November 20 – 6:00-8:00pm

BMoCA is pleased to present the third in the new series of Expert Talks in collaboration with Shark’s Ink., the nationally-renowned print studio in Lyons, Colorado. Shark’s Ink. at BMoCA are casual conversations between Master printer Bud Shark, his wife and fellow artist Barbara Shark, and one of the resident artists at Shark’s Ink.

The conversation on November 20 will feature abstract painter and print-maker Rodney Carswell.

Rodney Carswell (b. 1946, California) grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He received his BFA from University of New Mexico in 1968 and his MFA from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1972. Carswell has exhibited at museums and galleries throughout the United States. He has received fellowship grants from the John Solomon Guggenheim Foundation; the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation; the National Endowment for the Arts; and Illinois Arts Council. His work can be found in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois; the Albright Knox Gallery in Buffalo, New York; and the Illinois State Art Museum.

Shark’s Ink. at BMoCA is sponsored by 15th Street Studio.
