Denver Botanic Gardens and Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art are proud to present Community Supported Art Colorado (CSArt Colorado). Modeled closely on Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs) programs that link local crop growers with local consumers, the CSArt program connects local artists with local art lovers through a buy-local, share-based membership. Shareholders will receive a total of ten original artworks from ten local artists throughout the 2014 season.
CSArt Colorado will host two art distribution events in 2015. At these festive events shareholders have the opportunity to meet the artists and pick up their art. Distribution events are exciting occasions for shareholders and artists to connect.
The spring distribution event will be held at Denver Botanic Gardens. At the event, shareholders will collect the first five works of art in their share while celebrating this innovative program supporting our local art community. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists and mingle with fellow art-lovers. The event will feature refreshments, seasonal appetizers, and after-hours access to Denver Botanic Gardens.
