This talk offers an inside view into Nengudi’s work during the residency, as well as her past work and future projects.

Explore themes of intertextuality, politics, and fatherhood in a reading by London-based poet and Dr. Tim Atkins.

James Tapscott is primarily a land and light artist whose work explores ideas of phenomenology and our response and understanding of natural phenomena through site-specific installations, sculpture, and photographic projects.

Residency exists to invite artists from around the world to explore their practice within the Boulder community. Artist Amalia Pica will join the Residency Program during the month of October, 2017. In this session, artist will discuss the research for her residency.

In Berndnaut Smilde’s second artist talk, he will share developments in his research and work on rainbow projections during his residency in Boulder. A scientific expert who has contributed to Smilde’s project will join the artist to discuss his research and next steps. The talk will be followed by a public reception.
