Get ready for an out of this world experience in Galaxy Camp!! We’ll make all kinds of galaxy inspired art, learn about constellations, make our own new planets, and even a troupe of aliens! Calling all space explorers!

Using a variety of mediums, children will enjoy transporting themselves to a magical world Under the Sea! We’ll make beautiful clay fish, learn new painting techniques to make underwater scenes and animals, and even transform our studio into an underwater oasis. Calling all scuba divers!

Make your own stuffies from scratch! Using both felt and muslin fabric, fabric scissors, paint, needle and thread, and of course plenty of stuffing, campers will learn to hand sew stuffies! Stuffies are a blast to make, fun to name, and some even turn into (very) easy-to-take-care-of pets. Join us in the studio and learn to design, plan, sew, and create your very own collection of stuffies!

We will be exploring how to draw people, animals, and nature using both traditional and contemporary drawing techniques with media such as pencils, pen and ink, charcoal, and more. Building upon various realistic drawing techniques, this camp will culminate in an independent project of each student’s choosing. Now let’s get drawing!

Students will have the opportunity to learn new techniques, advance their skills, and hone their artistic voice while working among a community of artists. Students will work with pencils, charcoal, pastels, watercolors, and acrylics. This class will support and encourage each student’s individual process while advancing their skills. Learn techniques such as shading, proportion, composition, and perspective in drawing and painting mediums. All levels welcome.
