Art @ One Boulder Plaza: Solar Prints Inspired by the Artwork of Richard Stephenson

Friday June 28 – 11:30am-1:30pm

Come for a lunch art break! Join us for art outdoors at One Boulder Plaza. Create your own cyanotype print using found objects and sunlight, inspired by the artwork of Richard Stephenson, the artist on exhibit in BMoCA’s Present Box exhibition space from July 18th to August 4th, 2019.

Presented in partnership with One Boulder Plaza Management and W.W. Reynolds.

About Richard Stephenson
Richard Stephenson is a Boulder native, artist, and Professor Emeritus at Regis University in Denver best known for his sculpture. Recently, he has made cyanotype prints of his sculptures. These prints – also referred to as solar prints, or blueprints – are specific records of the shapes at that instant, and illustrate the interplay between three dimensions and two dimensions.

About Art @ One Boulder Plaza
In its second year, explores art and its themes inspired by various local artists. These events will take place outdoors at One Boulder Plaza on the final Friday of each month, from May-September. Watch and interact with art during its creation!
