Diego Rodriguez-Warner was born in Managua, Nicaragua in 1986 and grew up in Denver, CO. In 2008, he studied under the Cuban Minister of Fine Arts, Lesbia Vent Dumois, in Havana, and received his BA in COIN Theory and Fine Arts from Hampshire College in 2009. In 2013, he earned an MFA from the Printmaking Department from the Rhode Island School of Design, where he was awarded the Tobey Devan Lewis Fellowship. In 2020, Rodriguez-Warner was named a Joan Mitchell Fellow, and his Painting The Fountain entered into the permanent collection of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. He has exhibited in Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Miami, and Havana. Rodriguez-Warner lives and works in Denver. He is represented by Leon Gallery.
