Open Wall

Friday October 23 – 4:30-8:00pm

Local artists and art lovers alike are invited to Open Wall – a one-night, self-curated exhibition and silent auction that raises funds for BMoCA and your local art community. Mingle with artists and art supporters, bid on a new work of art for your collection, and enjoy music, light hors d’œuvres, and refreshments.

Call for Artists
Calling all painters, potters, photographers, weavers, woodworkers, watercolor artists… we want them all! Whether you’re a novice or a professional, age 5, 55, or 105, all artists are invited to share their work at Open Wall, a pop-up community art exhibition and auction at BMoCA.

Participation is free, and all mediums are welcome.

All artwork needs to be install-ready, and artists install their work beginning at 4:30pm on a first-come, first-served basis. BMoCA provides wall space, pedestals, hammers, and nails. Registration occurs on the day of the event at BMoCA.

Artists price their own work, and the silent auction begins at 5:30pm. Proceeds are split 50/50 between the artist and BMoCA. Artists who are members of BMoCA receive a greater percentage of the sale of their work through a 60/40 split with the museum. Click here to become a member or learn about our membership levels.
