The fall Studio Project artists present an exhibition focused on the environmental impact of fast fashion. Throughout the fall semester, teens from Boulder and beyond have researched this important topic and worked with a local nonprofit. Students also learned relief printmaking under the mentorship of Boulder artist Theresa Haberkorn, who guided them as they created art for this show. The exhibition is a culmination of their collaborative work together.
Studio Project is a BMoCA education program that provides purposeful opportunities for high school youth to create dialogue about art, art making, and social issues as they affect young people.
The 2021 Studio Project is presented in partnership with Firehouse Art Center in Longmont.
