Showing: Upcoming Events

Join us to celebrate the installation of a new piece in BMoCA’s InsideOut exhibition space located on the northwest corner outside BMoCA. Colorado Springs’ artist Pard Morrison will be on hand to talk about the new work he created entitled, Heartmouth, which was commissioned specifically for the InsideOut space.

Come for a lunch art break! In the first of a series of events, BMoCA will be hosting artist Viviane Le Courtois outdoors at One Boulder Plaza to explore the art and presentation of fermented foods. Come discuss and eat the art! Presented in partnership with W.W. Reynolds.

Join University of Colorado Professor Melanie Yazzie to learn the process of creating monotypes, and bring home your own monotype ready for your wall. No previous experience necessary. This program is presented in partnership with Studio Arts Boulder.

In his elaborately constructed, colorful photographs, Jason DeMarte explores the unsettling intersection between the natural world and consumer culture. His compositions challenge romantic notions of nature by juxtaposing flora and fauna with brightly colored plastics, mysterious oozing liquids, candy, and other unnatural elements.

Selfie Workshop – Strike a Pose!
Travel back in time to the first self-portraits ever made and create your own personal portrait inspired by Giuseppe Arcimboldi’s vegetable heads!

Join us at BMoCA’s signature art auction and fundraising event! This annual party includes hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and a silent auction featuring art pieces from artists across Colorado and the world.

SPARK! programs create an opportunity for individuals living with early to mid-stage memory loss and their families to enjoy interactive and engaging experiences in a comfortable setting, guided by trained docents and volunteers. BMoCA Spark! events include specialized tours and art-making.

Program starts at 10:00am with light refreshments.
