BMoCA + ASLD do Zagreb 2025

BMoCA is partnering again with ASLD (the Art Students League of Denver) to offer art and culture travel experiences around the globe, including adventures to Istanbul, Marrakech, Guadalajara, and more. In 2023, we traveled to Argentina and 2024 Lyon, France! As with all of our travel programs, this experience will be focused on the art, food, and culture of Zagreb, Croatia.

Prices
Double room per person $6,000 ($6,500 after 1/31/2025)
Single room $7,000 ($7,500 after 1/31/2025)
Join ASLD & BMoCA in Zagreb, Croatia, for an adventure focused on the City’s vibrant contemporary art scene and culinary scene. Our visit will include the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Broken Relationships, the Mestrovic Atelier, Lauba Gallery and more. We will enjoy a wonderful selection of dining experiences, and there will be free time for you to explore on your own.
* Please note the price increase after 1/31/25. Prices include 7 nights at the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, all breakfasts, most lunches and lunches, all museum entries and tour fees, transportation, interpretation. Prices do not include airfare to and from Zagreb. If you choose to add days to your trip, you will be responsible for your own hotel arrangements on those extra days.
Deposit of $2,000 is required to hold your spot ($500 non refundable), Second payment of $2,500 due April 1, 2025. Balance due August 1, 2025. More important payment details included in the registration form.
Tentative Itinerary:
Thursday, 2 October, 2025 - Arrive in Zagreb, check in at hotel. We will meet for a welcome reception and dinner
Friday, 3 October - We’ll acclimate ourselves to the city with a walking tour of Zagreb, then visit the Museum of Broken Relationships and some gallery tours (Galerija Nova, Gliptoteka)
Saturday, 4 October - After visiting the weekly open air market in downtown, Dolac, Jelacic Square, we’ll tour the contemporary art museum and Moderna Galerija. After dinner, we’ll have the option to check out Croatia’s jazz scene.
Sunday, 5 October - For those interested, we’ll start with some antique hunting at Britanski trg, Zagreb’s Flea Market. Then we’ll tour the historic Art Pavilion and Botanical Gardens. Later in the day, we’ll visit some artist studios.
Monday, 6 October - Today we’ll take a day trip to the Unesco World Heritage Site, Plitvice Lakes National Park, and tour the town of Rastoke.
Tuesday, 7 October - Our art tour will continue with a visit to Lauba House, studio tours and collections.
Wednesday, 8 October - Free time to pack and see final sights of your choice!
Thursday, 9 October - Depart
Note: We will provide airport transfers for those arriving and departing on trip dates. If you choose to extend your trip, you will be responsible for your own airport transfers and any additional hotel arrangements.
