Since 2021, BMoCA has embarked on several new partnerships with commercial and non-profit organizations offering curatorial services. As a contemporary art museum, BMoCA has first-hand experience seeing the impact artwork can have on individuals and communities. This is just as true for our gallery as it is for offices, gathering spaces, and apartments. The Curatorial Services initiative seeks to bring museum-quality artwork to Boulder County and the Denver Metro Area that tell the unique stories of your spaces.
Additionally, through this initiative, BMoCA aims to increase our engagement with artists from the region. Curatorial Services enhances BMoCA’s ability to support artists by providing them with experiences that go beyond the museum. By acquiring/commissioning artworks directly from working artists, they have the opportunity to connect to new audiences, to create unique, large scale projects they might not otherwise, and to have their artwork placed in permanent collections.
BMoCA’s Curatorial Services also directly support the Museum’s operations and programming, allowing us to continue to provide cutting-edge contemporary art experiences to our community.
We provide vast resources and capabilities that help to facilitate connections between stakeholders and artists.
