Join a tour of BMoCA’s Spring Exhibitions followed by a fiber art workshop. BMoCA educator Melinda Laz will lead a tour and discussion of three unique artists that explore ideas for mark-making using a wide variety of materials and techniques such as sewing and beading, wool tying, collaging on paper, and drawing on the wall.
Following the tour, participate in a workshop of knotting and tying inspired by artist Erica Green’s use of fiber. All art supplies included with $5.00 fee (payable at the museum).
After the museum, walk next door to the Dushanbe Tea House with the group for optional lunch (self-pay).
No transportation is provided for this meet-up trip. The closest bus stops are Arapahoe Ave. and 14th St. (JUMP), and Broadway and Canyon Blvd. (204 & 225).
