BMoCA is thrilled to bring artist Alejandra Abad and her project Nuestros Deseos (Our Wishes) to Bemis Library. Messages of hope will be crowdsourced from the community and then placed on 10 beautiful flags that will be displayed at the library.

Bemis Library will host Abad for a three-week residency, utilizing the library’s makerspace to create the flags. Patrons of all ages are invited to help create the flags and learn from Abad throughout the residency.

This collaboration is funded by the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District.
