More info:
As the world becomes a darker, more uncertain place, something deeper and wiser stirs within us. The substance of our soul is part of the fabric of life and the living tapestry of creation. The soul is always on the verge of some great awareness and on the edge of awakening to a more genuine way of being.

The soul is the light hidden in darkness, the spark of imagination and the source of renewal in the heart of each person.  At each critical turn in life our soul tries to awaken and the light hidden within reveals our natural way of being and our original way of seeing.

The world aligns with us when we align with the core pattern and innate purpose set within our heart. Changes at the level of the individual heart and soul can generate the collective energy needed to change the conditions of the world. There is an eye within the heart that sees the beauty of creation no matter the condition of the world.

Michael J. Meade is the founder of the Mosaic Multicultural Foundation, a Seattle-based non-profit dedicated to education and culture. The focus of his current work is to bring healing through story and mythology to disaffected populations from many sectors of modern culture. He frequently works with at-risk youth, homeless populations, returning veterans, prisoners, and youth involved in gang life.
