These are Monday - Thursday (4 days) half day sessions - Morning Session is 9am – 12pm, Afternoon Session is 1pm – 4pm. Lunch is on your own, supervision is not provided from 12pm - 1pm.
Morning Session (9am - 12pm) - Flipbooks and Optical Illusions
Don't miss this super fun week of drawing with a twist as we dive into flipbooks and optical illusions! Flipbooks are one of the original forms of animation! We will use flipbooks to develop a character or an image, and learn how to make minor changes to create an animated flipbook using mini LED lightpads and special flipbook paper. In addition to flipbooks, campers will explore ways to trick our eyes with optical illusions. Get ready for a week of drawing and fun! Ages 8-12.
Afternoon Session (1pm - 4pm) - Acrylics & Watercolor
This fun camp is perfect for the artist who is interested in practicing and advancing their painting skills. Working on canvas panels, stretched canvases, and watercolor paper, students will learn both acrylic and watercolor painting techniques, color mixing, composition, and more, all in a fun and supportive environment. Clear off some wall space — you'll have plenty of new art to hang after this camp! Ages 9-13.
