Trey Duvall’s work concerns entropy, futility, humor, duration, stamina, and material or physical exhaustion. His creative practice includes various forms of large-scale installation, video, performance, and other sculptural and organizational mediums.

In addition to site specific installation and performances, Duvall’s work has been recently exhibited at Black Cube Nomadic Museum, RedLine Contemporary Art Center, Denver CO, University of Wyoming Art Museum, Rice University, Houston, TX, Triumph Gallery, Chicago, IL, Galerie des Beaux-Artes de Nantes, Nantes, France, Lawndale Art Center, Houston, TX, School of Visual Arts, New York, NY, and Plot Manifest, Marfa, TX. His work has been featured on ABC News, the Houston Chronicle, and Art In America.

Duvall received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Houston, and is currently an artist in residence at RedLine Contemporary Art Center in Denver, Colorado.

Virtual Studio Tours are 30 min interactive programs that explore local contemporary artist studios. Artists take viewers behind the scenes of their studio practice with insights into their processes, inspirations and artwork. Moderated by BMoCA’s Associate Curator of Community Engagement this Instagram Live series is an initiative to support local artists and give viewers the opportunity to take a closer look at art practices and ask questions to contemporary artists.
