What is Open Wall?
An art sale & exhibition for everyone. Local artists are invited to BMoCA to share and sell their work at Open Wall for ONE NIGHT ONLY from 6-9pm on Friday, March 14! This self-curated exhibition and art sale raises funds for BMoCA and your local art community!
Admission is free for the artists to participate and attend, and “Pay from Your Heart” for art patrons - Whether it's one penny or one hundred dollars, you pick your admission fee to BMoCA!
Please note: Cash, Cards & Apple Pay are accepted. There is a $1 minimum charge on credit cards.
When is Open Wall?
Friday, March 14, 2025 (ONE NIGHT ONLY!)
3-4pm - NEW - Member Artist early installation*
4-6pm Artist installation
6-9pm Public welcome & art sale. Light refreshments & cash bar will be available.
9-10pm Artists deinstall their work and take work home
Saturday, March 15, 10am - 5pm - Artists deinstall their work and take it home. (If the unsold art is not claimed by 5pm, it will become property of BMoCA).
How do I participate as an artist?
The online registration form is available now or you can fill out the printable registration form. We encourage you to sign up ahead online, and print off and complete the W-9 form to make the check in process go quickly. Artists line up outside BMoCA at least 2 hours early, and the doors open for artists to check in at 4pm and then go upstairs to hang their work.
* New this year, if you are a member, you get earlier entry at 3pm and first access to hang your work. CLICK HERE to become a member now.
Participation is free for the artist.
Artists proceeds are split 50/50 between the artist and BMoCA. Artists who are members of BMoCA receive a greater percentage of the sale of their work through a 60/40 split with the museum. Artists can also choose to donate 100% of the art sale proceeds to support the museum’s exhibitions and programs.
