Christine Nguyen: Mountain Totem and Moons
October 17 – December 31, 2022
@ Aurora Public Libraries - Martin Luther King Jr. Library
Mountain Totem and Moons was a project led by artist Christine Nguyen at the Martin Luther King Jr. Library in collaboration with the BMoCA. This community-created cyanotype mural, and photo-based flags were inspired by the flora and fauna of Colorado and Nguyen’s personal connection to the ocean, the cosmos and phases of the moon. Throughout the library patrons could explore, interact and find the objects represented in Nguyen’s flags. Special thanks to the community for sharing their creativity and cyanotypes!
