Yazmin Atmore: Spellbound
February - March 2025 @ Hoffman Library

Hoffman Library, 1298 Peoria St, Aurora, CO 80011

Dispersed throughout the library, Yazmin Atmore weaves a tapestry of imaginations and ancestral wisdom inspired by her love of reading from her teenage years exploring fantasy, Afrofuturism and deep healing. Pairing digital collage and floral arrangements, Atmore views these techniques as portals/meeting grounds between the viewer and the Divine embodying the healing essence of ancestral wisdom, Nature’s magick and community

About the Artist
Yazz is a community organizer, creative & educator in Denver, Colorado where she continues to mentor and create with young artists as they explore their lives, stories, and passions through the beauty of art. Constantly, inspired by the youth + community she works with, Yazz continues to develop & deepened her own artistry as a collagist, muralist & floral enthusiast. Her work is also heavily influenced by her spiritual journey as she loves exploring the spirit world with God, Ancestors & her Spirit Team.
