Lafayette Public Library hosts a Memory Café featuring a new topic and/or speaker on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Melinda Laz, the Outreach & Education Manager from BMoCA will share information about the SPARK! program, give a presentation featuring a few of the artists and exhibitions on view at BMoCA, and lead a a simple art activity for participants to try, inspired by artists on view in the exhibition.

SPARK! is a series of programs specifically designed to make BMoCA’s art exhibitions accessible for people with early-stage Alzheimer’s or dementia and their caregivers.

SPARK! is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District. The program is presented in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association.
