Young Artists at Work (YAW) School Days Off
Half day camps $50/$45 members
Young Artists at Work (YAW) day camps offer a dynamic and inspiring day of artistic expression, where campers explore artists and art materials, and have fun together in an art museum setting!
Dates for the 2024-25 school year can be found on our EVENTS page. This program is for youth in Kindergarten – 6th grades. Camps correspond to Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) non-student contact days. All camps are taught by a BMoCA Educator.

These are half day sessions -
Morning Session is 9am – 12pm
Afternoon Session is 1pm – 4pm
If you sign up for both am/pm sessions, lunch supervision is provided from 12pm-1pm.

Tinker @ BMoCA Youth Summer Art Camps
BMoCA is happy to be hosting summer camps in partnership with Tinker Art Studio for kindergarten - 11th grades. Our summer exhibition will be incorporated into the camper experience and curriculum in a variety of ways. Morning and afternoon camp sessions are available, please see our EVENTS page for details.
Please note: these are half day camps that runs Monday - Thursday.
We spend our days in the stunning upstairs studio above the museum, and get to make art in community while being inspired by our surroundings and the contemporary artists' work on display. Each week includes a museum tour, and each day includes snack and break time outdoors on the large grassy lawns in front of the museum. Less than 6-to-1 student-teacher ratio, the most inspiring space, exposure to contemporary art while making amazing work of our own -- it doesn't get much better!
Please note that there is no lunch time supervision for kids enrolled in both the morning and afternoon sessions. Parents are responsible for lunch and should plan to pick up their kids during this time.

August 4-7 - Flipbooks (AM), Acrylics & Watercolors (PM)
Art Show: We invite family and friends to join us 15 minutes before pick up on Thursdays for a celebration of our work from the week!
